Fling Machine Reflection

Austyn and myself had the incredibly hard challenge of launching two balls of cotton across the room as far as possible. To do this we collaborated together to come up with a plane. This plane was made of aluminium foil and had the cotton balls rolled up into cylindrical shapes and placed in the nose of the craft.
A block of aluminium.
Our test flight data is as follows in the bar graph.
The mean of our data is roughly 5.6 feet. The median is 5.5 feet, and the range is 4.8 feet.

Team Hydra was called upon this last week to instruct the plebeians on the properties of unit conversion.  We did this using a Google Slide and our amazing powers of explanation. We went over the purposes of unit conversion, how it is done, and the metric system itself.

Colour Theory

Colour theory is defined as:
  1. an arrangement or combination of colors, especially as used in interior decoration.
Throughout the course of the week I have observed colours in nature and online by looking at images. I then created a colour wheel showing the primary colours.

My Lines

Today we used lines to show different views we can draw of objects. We used the objects in a packet provided to us and then drew the best view to show the most lines in our engineering notebook.

The Potato and the Microwave

My goal is to increase the amazing power of potato production in the microwave. For this to be achieved a 3D-printer has been fitted to print organic materials, specifically that of the potato. The potato will then be transferred to the microwave for microwaving and later consumption. Below is an artist's render of the final product.

DragonQuest and The Big Problems

Throughout the years there have been many amazing Dragon Quest games. Even some amazing spin-offs from the original series, chief among the, Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime.

Self-Portrait

These are some things that describe me:

My main goal for this class is to learn how to design objects in a more practical and realistic way.

CommiCup

My esteemed partner Alvin helped me to design the next level of cup technology. The basis of this technology relies upon the power of communism, and its benefits of everyone achieving the same no matter what. This allowed the user to get their cup refilled without actually being present at a device to refill it for them.

Ad for CommiCup

Using highly advanced technology to facilitate the travel and copying of liquids between cups the CommiCup is truly the next leap for mankind in cup technology.

Bridge Project

Techies Design invented a bridge to cross the Grand Canyon. Using teamwork and critical thinking we developed a bridge capable of holding large amounts of clay.

This was achieved by good teamwork between the engineers. Collaborating with each other they were able to invent the amazing bridge that can span the Grand Canyon.
